What to Wear

The pounds and inches are falling off at a rate that could be normal if I am a person who could lose weight without injection. But between weight hugging medications and the reality of being an eater who will overdo my plate for comfort. This is a new phenomenon. I am thrilled and feel like a new person. However, as I lose, I am being swallowed up by my clothes. It’s a great thing, but something I am not ready to replenish until I have landed and maintained with relative ease a final number that is good for my health. My size currently has lowered by one full notch or so, depending on the manufacturer. So, while I am readying to donate my fat clothes, I am not ready for a shopping spree designed for this new era. So, enter fast fashion or lower priced stylish alternatives to allow me to find my groove as I have been shopping to cover and conceal rather than shopping to highlight and enjoy. I chose Halara. It is cheaper but not cheap, comfy but school appropriate and cooperates with my fluctuating size. Halara is basically legging material created in all different forms in amazing shapes and easy fitting sizes. It is inspired through Lululemon and Alo but not at $100 plus per piece, and while it will not last as long I could squeak out a wardrobe for school with many options under the price of a few higher end desires. My secondary friend has been Amazon. I love Tuckernuck and have found my dupes at a third of the price. Again, the items won’t last as long, but these are short-term clothes during my life of change, which should end late summer at my goal weight and size. Then, I can start creating my own little capsule wardrobe for school on a budget, but just maybe off the dupe market. Maybe.
